For some time we’ve had a specs available for purchase, specifically for those of you that deal with Waste and Wastewater Treatment Plants, well, we’ve decided to greatly expand that.
The line now includes the following:

US Pipe Ductile Iron TR-Flex Fittings and Pipe
US Pipe Ductile Iron HP-Lok Fittings and Pipe

Hobas
SDR 26 Gasketed Fittings and Pipe
SDR 35 Gasketed Fittings and Pipe
SDR 35 Solvent Weld Fittings and Pipe
SCH 80 PVC Fittings and Pipe

These specs are complete and include all of the necessary datafiles.  All of these were created with DIRECT input from users in the field, and rely heavily on catalog data from various suppliers.  These are all CADWorx 2010 and earlier compatible, with current development underway to expand this collection using CADWorx 2011

Will have soon SCH 80 CPVC pipe and fittings and American Ductile Iron Pipe.

We recognize that CADWorx is the worlds best piping solution, and these specs make doing so for these very specific areas easier than ever.

The other day a friend of mine asked if there was a good way to get a screen shot of only a part of a screen.  Many users are familiar with using PrintScreen, but frequently, you don’t want to capture the entire viewable area.

The tool that I recommend for screen capture is called Jing.  Jing is created by the makers of Camtasia, and SnagIt.

Jing is FREE! and available at www.jingproject.com

You will need to register with Screencast.com to get 1 GB of online storage and to use Jing, but in my mind it is well worth the trouble.
